It is with great sadness, the Lionville Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member Walter E. Trego. Walter passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017.

Walter joined the Lionville Fire Company as a young man and served as a Firefighter.

Walter moved to Elkton, Maryland to manage his business Trego Bros. Inc., and that was when he joined Singerly Fire Company, where he was also a life member.

Walter Joined Singerly as a probationary member on April 26, 1971. He served as the company engineer in 1972, 1977, 1997, and 1998.

At Singerly, he was an active firefighter, an emergency vehicle driver and also served on the Board of Directors for many years, in addition to a number of other jobs he held such. He was also active in fundraising

The Lionville Fire Company offers its sincerest condolences to the Trego Family and friends of Walter.
