At 10:18am, Lionville Fire Company, along with Uwchlan Ambulance, was dispatched for a reported Aircraft Accident, in the area of Heron Hill Drive, in Upper Uwchlan Township. While enroute, the dispatcher advised that a plane may be down in the area of Milford Road. Deputy 47 and Assistant 47 arrived and confirmed that there was an airplane, on its wheels, in a field, off of Milford Road. Rescue 47 and Engine 47-2 arrived at the scene moments later. The Single-Engine Cessna was intact, not leaking any fluids & there were no injuries. All units returned safely.

Thank you to the Chester County Department of Emergency Services Dispatchers, Upper Uwchlan Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Park Rangers, Uwchlan Ambulance, as well as other local police departments for their assistance.
