I'm curious. Is there anyone affiliated with LFC who can recall Walter and Betty Mitchell's farm that was a few feet down from the firehouse on old rte. 100? Our families used to get together mostly on the weekends and "work the soil". Slop the hogs and milk the cows, too.
Yes, the farm was sold years ago and the church converted the old barn for community services. Anyway, would anyone remember the Mitchell family? (BTW... Mitchell Road is named for them.) I've always wondered what happened to them especially after their retirement and the sale of the property.
What do you know? Anything about them would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello members of Station 47. Very nice site. It's been a while since I have been backk to Lionville Station 47. I was a member from 1974 until 1985. I hope that all is well with it's members. Due to recent heart surgery, I no longer run with my company in Dauphin County, and I do miss it.
