The Passing of Charlie Lobb

By President Mark Hull
January 22, 2025

Over the years, you lose more than just members of this fire company, you lose good friends and genuinely nice people.

The Lionville Fire Company mourns the loss of one of our own, Charlie Lobb, who passed away just a few days ago on January 19th. Charlie has been a member of our company since 1999. Along with his wife Pam, they helped keep us safe while we operated at incidents, as dedicated members of our Fire Police Unit.

Charlie was born in 1928 in Norristown, Pa. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Theology at Temple University, and a Master of Education at West Chester University. Charlie was active in his local Lions Club, Supervisor of Upper Uwchlan Township, as well as volunteering with us, here at the Lionville and Ludwigs Corner Fire Companies.

Charlie always seemed to have a smile on his face when around the fire house and was never short on time to say a quick hello or offer a handshake, as he and his wife Pam were always there to help those in need, whether it was part of the fire company or out in the community with the Lions Club. Charlie will certainly be missed here at the Lionville Fire Company, as well as all around the area where he loved to serve.

The Membership of the Lionville Fire Company offers our sincerest condolences to Charlie’s wife, Pam and his entire family.
