House Fire Response in West Whiteland

On the morning of Sunday, February 8th, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to assist the West Whiteland Fire Company with a reported house fire on Southern Drive in West Whiteland Township. Upon arrival, crews from Engine 47-2 stretched a 1 3/4” hoseline to the front door, assisting West Whiteland Firefighters with extinguishing the flames on the first floor. Crews from Tower 47 were utilized for manpower in several areas. Both crews further assisted with the overhaul, ensuring no further fire was hidden behind walls or void spaces. Lionville volunteers operated at the scene for roughly 1.5 hours.
